CIRCLETECH Industry Impact Day at the University of Miskolc

The University of Miskolc, in collaboration with InnoME TTC Ltd., proudly hosted the CIRCLETECH Industry Impact Day on 2 December 2025 at the University Library-Archive-Museum building (KLM). The event offered a unique platform where academic research and industrial innovation meet to drive forward circular-economy solutions.

Focus Areas and Purpose

The goal of the event was to present industry-driven research and applied developments across four strategic areas:

• urban mining and recycling,

• modern recycling process technologies,

• circular manufacturing technologies,

• sustainable energy transition  

• 

  Who Took Part

  Participants included academic staff and industry representatives from companies collaborating with the University of Miskolc under the umbrella of the CiRCLETECH project. Throughout the day, experts shared insights into the challenges and opportunities of bringing research outcomes to market, and discussed how to catalyze successful technology transfer.

  

  From Presentations to Networking

  The professional programme began at 10:00 and ran until 15:00, covering presentations, panel discussions, and project showcases. The day concluded with a standing reception — a relaxed networking opportunity where participants could meet, connect and explore potential collaborations. 

  The Industry Impact Day demonstrated the University of Miskolc’s commitment to circular economy research and innovation. It reaffirmed the crucial role of collaboration between research institutions and industry in advancing sustainable technologies, and underlined how applied science can contribute to a greener, more resource-efficient future.
