CiRCLETECH: Midway the Journey

In 2022, we embarked on the CiRCLETECH project with a shared vision and enthusiasm. Our collective goal is to enhance the scientific excellence of our cooperating partners, the University of Miskolc, the Technische Universiteit Delft, and the Lappeenranta–Lahti University of Technology, in the field of sustainable circular economy research.

CiRCLETECH week with researchers from Finland

Eight researchers from the LUT University from Lappeenranta, Finland, visited the University of Miskolc as part of the CiRCLETECH week between February 9 and 15.

Research Gap Identification Workshop with the trainers of the Europe Media Trainings

The objective of this half-day online workshop was to identify joint research ideas and opportunities for cooperation between UNIM, TU Delft and LUT University on August 31, 2023 in the following four research areas: 1. Urban and waste mining, material recycling, 2. Processing technologies in waste recycling, 3. Circular manufacturing, 4. Sustainable energy transition – Just transition.

1st CiRCLETECH Summer School 2023: Circular manufacturing

4 young researchers from the University of Miskolc participated in the Summer School in May 2023 in Delft: Eszter Borsodi, Dr. Ákos Cservenák, Dr. István Sztankovics and Dr. Péter Veres.

Advancing Collaboration and Research in Energy Transition: University of Miskolc and LUT Join Forces

Lappeenranta, Finland – In a landmark development, six members of the Sustainable Energy Transition – Just Transition Working Group from the University of Miskolc, Hungary, have embarked on a journey to Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) to explore collaboration opportunities in the CiRCLETECH project.
