The EMANES Annual Conference was held in Barcelona, at the impressive Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, from 10 to 12 December 2025. The annual event provides a forum for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers to discuss key issues related to socio-economic development and regional integration by selecting high-quality, policy-relevant, cutting-edge research and recognized keynote speakers for the programme. This year’s conference focused on Towards Regenerative Economies: Pathways for Inclusive, Sustainable and Resilient Development in Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa.
We are pleased to announce that Eszter Borsodi (University of Miskolc), a member of our R3 research group, presented the results of her research at the ESG & Technology session of the conference. Her presentation, entitled Exploring the Barriers to Circular Economy Related Technology Absorption in Hungarian Industrial Companies, highlighted the key findings of a study conducted within the framework of the CiRCLETECH project. This research represents not only a valuable scientific contribution but also an important outcome of the CiRCLETECH project. The co-author of the research is Zsolt István.
We congratulate Eszter Borsodi on her excellent work and successful participation in this prestigious international conference. The presented research results will soon be published as a scientific article in the renowned journal Economic Notes, further strengthening the international visibility of our research activities.
