On 14 October, the University of Public Service hosted the 5th Research Management Professional Day, organized by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH / NRDIO) and NCP Hungary – Horizon Europe.
The event brought together 81 research management professionals from 28 institutions to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and reflect on the future of the profession.
Colleagues from the University of Miskolc Grant and Project Coordination Center also took part in the event.
Discussions covered key topics such as the Horizon Europe Work Programmes for 2026–2027, the upcoming FP10 Framework Programme, and international trends in research management.
The day concluded with an interactive workshop and a laboratory visit, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in proposal preparation and data security.
The event once again highlighted that research management plays a crucial role in promoting the internationalisation and excellence of Hungarian research.
