TU Delft Study Visit Supports Development of CiRCLETECH Hub and Future Research Excellence

A University of Miskolc delegation visited TU Delft in the summer of 2025 to learn about the university’s best practices in technology and knowledge transfer, research commercialization, support for entrepreneurial initiatives, research funding, R&D project management, innovation services, and university-industry collaboration. The delegation included Dr. Tamás Sámuel Madarász (Vice-Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering), Beáta Edit Várnai (CEO of InnoME TTC Ltd.), and Eszter Borsodi (PhD student and member of CiRCLETECH Research Group 3). The insights gained during the visit—together with experiences from a previous trip to Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology—were incorporated into the study D3.5 Summary of Best Practices for Hungarian Higher Education Institutions, which will soon be published on the CiRCLETECH Hub website. These good practices play a key role in the development of the CiRCLETECH Hub, a cornerstone of the project’s continuation, aimed at catalysing long-term research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
